AD (Formerly TomMoore) was active on Conservapedia from late February to mid-June 2008. He was banned for 6 months after this post at the end of an argument he had with CP Sysop Joaquín Martínez over the inclusion of Pericles' image in the "Greek influence on Western Culture" article (that did not even mention Pericles). In this argument AD (then TomMoore) was repeatedly ignored and told to back down until he finally snapped. AD was popular at RationalWiki during his time on CP and was welcomed wholeheartedly when he signed up to RW.

[edit] Return to CP

After his six month block expired, AD returned to CP but was blocked shortly afterward by Andrew Schlafly for "wasting the time of good editors". Presumably, this had something to do with the fact that AD had a subpage (User:TomMoore/StolenImages- now deleted) dedicated to pointing out images hosted by CP that violated copyright law.

[edit] Vegetarianism

He started a debate on vegetarianism [3] which split the RW community, though the debate was reasonably civilized. The bleeding-heart, left-wing weaklings who inhabit RW would normally be be a shoo-in for such an obviously morally just cause as Tom's vegetarianism. However, when they had to chose between morality and tastiness, their taste buds overcame their consciences.

AD later expanded his views in an essay [4] but after the previous massive debate almost nobody felt inclined to respond.

[edit] Moderator

AD was one of the first "class" of moderators elected.
