Carptrash is a post-Conservapedia editor, fond of sharing personal anecdotes and photos from his "carpchives". He has sometimes described himself as a "hippy", and revealed on his user page that he was brought up an atheist, but now belongs to an obscure religion (or "cult").^[3]

Carptrash worked as a home educator for many years, and has defended homeschooling vehemently in the face of RationalWiki prejudice.^[4]

He took unkindly to Kels giving him a friendly Christmas block, and reacted irrationally, comparing her actions to napalm-testing and threatening her with a blu-tac voodoo doll.^[5]
