Ex CP sysop

There is something about being an ex-Cp sysop which drives such users to become, or try to become, RW sysops. Why is this? Is it lust for power? The possibility of picking up girls? Their natural superiority? Boredom?

There are two kinds of ex-CP sysops who are RW sysops - ones from before the "Night of the Blunt Knives" and ones from after it.

We are concerned here with post-"Night of the Blunt Knives” CP sysops. We have HeartOfGold, TK, Bohdan and Hojimachong.

Each one of these is different of course, but the thing they have in common is the moment they cease to become CP Sysops they have this sudden need to become RW ones. Why? It’s supposed to be a power-free janitorial position, but that’s obviously not true.

When sysopship was hard to get, TK tried to change the very rules of the site to become one; Heart of Gold pleaded for it; Bohdan grovelled for it; but Hojimachong got it for free.

I mean, what's with them?
