Javascap is a RationalWiki user who once put forth an essay opposing illegal immigration,^[6] which attracted quite a bit of controversy.^[7] Later, he repudiated the essay,^[8] and he seems to have put this entire incident behind him. In 2009 he put forth a further series of essays in which he describes his abandonment of Catholicism^[5] and his antitheistic views.^[4][9] More recently, he has published essays regarding critical thought, and is penning another essay on goats.

His contributions to the wiki have gone up and down. He usually edits the Bar and occasionally comments on essays or WIGO CP.
