PalMD is the fourteenth user who appeared in the user creation logs on Creation Day. He was already known for his persistant (but ill-fated) attempts to refute Andrew Schlafly's contentions regarding the risks of abortion on Conservapedia.
He is also notable for being mistakenly credited with founding RationalWiki by the Los Angeles Times[3].
Apparently, he is a real doctor (of internal medicine, specifically). His sad fixation with goats may well lead to the premature end of his medical career, however.

In recent years, PalMD is seldom seen on RationalWiki, usually popping in every now and then for a few edits before vanishing again, typically for months at a time. PalMD runs the White Coat Underground blog. This was formerly hosted at Science Blogs[4] until the kerfuffle with their "ad-blog" at which point he upped shop to Scientopia.[5] He also coined the term "Quack Miranda Warning", which features prominently on his Scentopia blog and on RationalWiki as a main article.[6]
