Tolerance is an editor who apparently preaches tolerance. She originally came to RationalWiki to "introduce some balance and tolerance", failing to realize that RationalWiki is not supposed to be tolerant and balanced. After being challenged to try that at Conservapedia, she created an account there.[3] She tried.[4] Surprisingly she is not currently blocked at CP, though she doesn't edit there any more. Her last edit before her disappearance was on 30 June 2008.
She returned to RationalWiki in February 2009, spurred by a random comment to her talk page by CUR, and wrote an essay on how Christian editors should edit.[5] Strangely enough, her essay also contains a plan for Christian editors to take over RationalWiki and change the Site into a Christian-friendly wiki. Many believed her to be a parodist, though many others were in doubt[6], and they turned out to be right. She was sysopped by Javascap on 25 February 2009.[7]
She also has the Tendency to use Capitalization in the entirely Nonsensical Fashion used in this Sentence, which she says Highlights the Important Words in her Sentences.[8]
Perhaps revealingly she did not use such capitalization in her essay - though that didn't stop Rationalwikians claiming that she was unable to capitalize properly.
On 17 September 2010, Tolerance "came out" as a troll.[9]

Tolerance returned in early 2011 at the height of the Maratrean Debacle. She proceeded to create her own made up religion: Tolerism. Tolerance also ran for mod, albeit unsuccessfully. The timing of this return has caused suspicion that Tolerence may in fact Be a Sock.
