From RationalWikiWiki
Since I don't think I can block or remove myself, I simply hereby remove my name from this pool of internet swill and vindictive nastiness. The owner, "Hans Johnson", a/k/a Radioactive Afikomen on RationalWiki, has decided to use this site to promote a personal vendetta with no sense of proportion or balance. Hence this site has now become one bored teenager's personal place to log their hatred of someone on another site. I wash my hands of this piece of shite. (And, PS, I spent a lot of work and time helping build it. Hans Johnson, you totally fucked this place up with your ego tripping and personality conflicts) Human 05:08, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Human, reconsider. I have made a proposal in the main page. I am not the ideal candidate and am often referred to as a 'twat' (And for good reason) but I have followed Rationalwiki for well over a year now and know the characters and the place inside out. I'm not particularly loved but in my mellower moments I am quite fair. Please reconsider this, I think you would be invaluable here. The Adjudicator 11:58, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Human, I pretty much agree with your summary above, but I don't think RWW is unsalvageable, & I don't think leaving is the answer (here or especially RW). I've taken down the 'News from the Front' (at least from the Main Page; I guess people can carry on editing the template if they want) as it just gives a bad vibe. Hopefully if editors concentrate on the articles here, rather than partisan 'news', the site can improve. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 12:52, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Good idea. If NftF was just cleaned up, or more balanced and wider-ranging, it wouldn't have rubbed me so wrongly. I realize (and expect) I will encounter criticism of my activities on RW here - that's the point, after all. Ideally, the more active editors here would just be lurkers at RW rather than main players - that would help with balance and perspective, and probably help with keeping it funny, too. That's mostly why after helping get some things set up early on, I mostly sat back to let it be what it will be. Human 20:46, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Janitor & Police abilities
Do I take it from your comments on your RW talk page that you don't want the extra abilities (block, move, delete, etc.) at RWW? For what it's worth, I don't think there's a real conflict of interests, since pretty much everyone here is involved at RW to some extent, and I don't feel that giving you blocking rights to deal with vandals significantly affects RWW's treatment of RW or the links between them. Anyway, if you really don't want the new powers, or feel conflicted about having them, I can certainly demote you again. It's up to you. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 15:49, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't feel too strongly about this, but I wouldn't vote for giving Human such powers. I've got nothing at all against him but rightly or wrongly he is the de-facto power on RW. It would be a little strange to give him such powers here. Nevertheless, as I said, it's not a big deal.--False Flag 16:13, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I think his de fact power at RW comes as much from voracious editing as it does from status. My own view, regarding user rights at RWW, is that it should be similar to RW - I.E. everyone we know is trustworthy (not going to go on a massive blocking or vandal spree) should be given blocking & cleanup abilities to help protect the site from vandalism. I don't see a conflict of interests in having powers at both sites. The only conflict of interests is when people start editing their own article at RWW or writing about their own activities at RW. And those things are unaffected by their ability to block or delete; they're just a matter of perspective. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 18:01, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- As I said, it's no big deal for me.--False Flag 18:10, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mind either way - as long as those who are more responsible here are content with me having any buttons, I'm fine with it. I don't edit here heavily (or much at all) anyway, pretty much to avoid the COI in any complicated situations being described at RW. However, that recent thing where someone asked me to come over and block an IP shows that maybe it would be handy having someone (more people) who are pretty easy to reach, who are able to come clean up. PS, as I said over on RW, I don't see why a "small" wiki like this one allows anonymous editing. But it's not my job to worry about it ;)
- So to sum up, either way is fine with me. And is "janitor" really a "power" or just an obligation? "Police" certainly sounds powerful ;) Human 19:25, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I think Janitor is a power, you get to hide certain edits to the public, as well as move and delete pages while the police can't. --Admin 04:45, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it looks like Human gets to keep his new powers here, unless anybody objects strongly & with just cause. weaseLICIOuS Bite Me 01:10, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Human
*coff* - For someone with your moniker, the delicious irony of your lack of human decency, as indicated here, is not lost to me. Funny guy ^_^ - Alison 05:51, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see any irony in it. Speaking as someone who has major issues with him myself, I find the name quite appropriate. Human is only as flawed as any other human being—occasionally irritable, sometimes quite dickish, but often nice and ultimately a good person. Hans Johnson I'll get my hans on it 09:50, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- His name Human is based on his actual name, which he didn't through a tantrum about when everyone found out what it was. 192.43.227.18 23:41, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- Alison, I only see you as a troll. Your drama, along with Falldown's, have nothing to do with RW or RWW. Please get a life. Oh, and thank you, HJ and 192.xxx, for both "sides" of your comments. humanbe in 05:16, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] A request
Many of the articles here are inadequate, and I cannot improve them because I was not there when things happened. Essentially, we need you, or another member of the old guard, to improve articles on users.
18:49, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
- Any you particularly had in mind? I can try to help, as long as I don't get too much CUR on me. humanbe in 02:20, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] The wacky NZ vs US incident....
I know you and Ace are good buds, so I'm assuming he's cool with the stuff you put on his RWW page about the healthcare debate? SuperJoshFor no reason whatsoever 09:17, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- I put it there. I'm a bad writer, and it was written in the heat of the conflict. Feel free to completely revamp it, if you feel that is necessary. Theemperor 00:13, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- I dont mind. All is well. Ace McWicked 03:38, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Why do you let them take the piss?
You might as well be the old man of the mountain as far as RW is concerned. Why do you let these kids take the piss all the time over there? So much for your no-blocking rule BTW. Honestly. Its pathetic. 86.40.215.229 14:26, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- I really have no idea what you are talking about... and suspect you don't, either... humanbe in 01:04, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppets
I don't use sockpuppets so stop assuming that all these puppets are me! The only socks I use are my university IP (This one), my home IP (The 86 one) and MC/Lunacy. 134.226.1.229 08:42, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Hello!
Hello! Just a random hi to you, hope everything is going well in your world! :-D Refugee 18:47, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Locking
Actions that merit locking a page are:
- A RationalWikian has repeatedly attempted to whitewash their own article.
- Spammers attacking a particular page.
None of those apply, since Ace stopped trying to whitewash the article. And bureaucrat level indefinite locking is way overkill. -- Nx / talk 08:34, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Oh fuck off. This place (RWW) is a cancer. What did I do, you little worm? Piss in your fucking cornflakes or something? humanbe in 02:50, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

- Certainly, because everyone has to be serious here, right? Yet again, the no humor police have arrived... as for the BoN... wah wah wah, I troll, and when people actually respond to my provocations, I complain about abuse... --Eira 07:21, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- You have a weird sense of humor. 89.135.100.67 07:35, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Also, I wasn't trolling. Human whitewashed an article and then indefinitely protected it at the crat level. I informed him that what he did is against policy. -- Nx / talk 07:46, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- So, there is no policy saying anything about another person whitewashing someone else's article, and you want to crucify him for that? I'm confused... oh wait, you just hate don't like human, and will seek out any perversion of policy in order to hold his feet to the fire... of course, it all makes sense now... --Eira 08:56, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Please read the locking policy. -- Nx / talk 09:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Right... there was no reason to lock the article. But what's the consequences for locking an article ... you know what... actually, fuck this argument, it's retarded. I'm walking away... --Eira 09:46, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's kinda hard to actually research this trash, since Nx is too lazy to provide diffs/logs to click on. humanbe in 00:59, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
