I shall consider, on the following conditions:

1. You give a useful thing that you would do given janitorship
2. You accept that you will only use your powers for the above purpose, unless given explicit permission to do others
3. You never, never make any edits that insult anyone, and never touch other people's user pages and
4. You accept that if you break either of the last two conditions, you will be demoted, and possibly blocked.

As I already stated, I can't agree to that second condition ever. No one else ever has. As far as insulting people, well that's what we do all over RWW, don't we? Look at my page!

Again, I can agree to use my powers for useful things, and never to vandalise, override consensus, or otherwise disrupt.

Hello, I have "janitor" status here, but when I went to block someone with a &$%#@ user name today, I discovered that I do not seem to have blocking ability. Is it possible to remedy this? Thanks - Refugee 16:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. :-) I blocked a few of the "anti-CUR" vandal newuser accounts, and I was wondering if it might be worthwhile to temporarily install a new user "check" of some sort, until this dies down... perhaps something like, validation of email address required prior to using new account? It might at least slow this stuff down. Some sites I edit at have similar things, I don't know if it's possible to do this here, or even wanted, just an idea. Refugee 01:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

I got Nx to totally lock down the access user group; I was fed up with the edit warring over the edit tabs. The access user right can now only be removed, not given, but I left Trent and Nx with it so they could fix things if something broke. 15:17, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
